Clinical Director

School: Regis University

Skills/Specialties: Play Therapy; Clinical Supervision; Adults; Children; Families; EMDR; Transgender Youth

Personal Interests: As a Colorado native, Jen loves to spend time outdoors — although not if it’s too cold! She identifies as a runner who does not like to run, but has completed several half-marathons. She has an amazingly supportive husband and kiddo and is a long-time supporter of Casa Bonita! Some might say that Jen’s biggest weakness is online shopping, but we love all the goodies that randomly show up in the office!

Professional Bio: Jen earned her Masters of Community Counseling from Regis University and immediately started working on her Registered Play Therapist credential. Jen’s passion and drive led her to earn the title of Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor as well as Accredited Clinical Supervisor. She currently sits on the board for the Colorado Association for Play Therapy.

From Jen: “I'm up to date on all of the Disney Junior shows and can recite details pertaining to all of the Disney princesses, thanks to my kiddo, whose imagination knows no bounds. I enjoy baking, with sporadic success, and love trying new things. I am an avid sushi connoisseur, but I hate corn. I know, I know - how is that even possible, but it's a true story! Colorado Girl Tip: Yes, you should visit Casa Bonita at least once, and yes it is exactly as described in the South Park episode. No, you should not plan to really eat there, other than sopapillas. Remember, flag up for sopapillas - the platter is just your ticket in!”
